Kaufmann c\u00e9l\u00e8bre l\u2019architecture en bois. Les voies de grue pour la fabrication des modules et les charpentes sont reli\u00e9es avec ing\u00e9niosit\u00e9. Cela a permis de construire un atelier peu \u00e9lev\u00e9, et de le poser comme un meuble dans le paysage de collines. Les charpentes en bois de h\u00eatre con\u00e7ues pour supporter de lourdes charges sont dimensionn\u00e9es au plus juste, avec de petites sections. On a ainsi l\u2019impression de se trouver dans une pi\u00e8ce \u00e0 vivre, o\u00f9 les ouvriers, l\u2019ordinateur et les machines fraisent, clouent et assemblent. L&rsquo;atelier fournit des emplois solides gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des produits concurrentiels dans toute l\u2019Europe. Et ce beau b\u00e2timent industriel en est la vitrine. \u00bb<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">En quoi ce projet est-il particulier ?<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">La charpenterie-menuiserie Kaufmann, dans le Bregenzerwald, est une entreprise familiale de quatri\u00e8me g\u00e9n\u00e9ration sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e dans les techniques modernes du bois et dans la production de modules pour b\u00e2timents en bois. La production de ces modules, qui demande beaucoup de place, a n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 la construction d\u2019un nouvel atelier de montage. L\u2019atelier est divis\u00e9 en deux nefs. Une nef longitudinale \u00e9quip\u00e9e de rails est r\u00e9serv\u00e9e \u00e0 la production. Les modules finis sont stock\u00e9s dans la deuxi\u00e8me nef. Pour r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 des imp\u00e9ratifs d\u2019am\u00e9nagement du territoire, l\u2019atelier a d\u00fb \u00eatre construit le plus bas possible afin de s\u2019int\u00e9grer dans le site. La structure portante devait pouvoir supporter \u00e0 la fois de lourdes voies de grues et de fortes charges de neige. Le nombre d\u2019appuis m\u00e9dians a \u00e9galement d\u00fb \u00eatre r\u00e9duit au minimum. La solution d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e est une charpente en bois avec voies de grues int\u00e9gr\u00e9es. Cinq charpentes pr\u00e9fabriqu\u00e9es en bois de h\u00eatre d\u2019aspect filigrane, mais capables de supporter de lourdes charges, reposent sur des piliers en b\u00e9ton solidement fix\u00e9s au sol. Cela permet de transporter des charges \u00e9lev\u00e9es avec des raccords partiellement en bois, et de renoncer ainsi largement \u00e0 l\u2019utilisation de l\u2019acier.<\/p>\n<\/div><div
